Inspiration 06: Change & Disclosure

Throughout the week I have gone on some riveting self awareness journeys. My week journey’s soundtrack included a verity of artists and a Daily Wellness on Spotify. But my inspiration this week came from listening to the funky jams of Disclosure while I went on this exciting adventure of change. This week is going to be brief but it brings great promise to the future.

Motivational Tips&Advice

I know I said it was going to be a brief Inspiration this week but, you really didn’t think I was going to leave you empty handed heading into a Monday, did you? When I have a lot of boxes to check off on my to-do list for the day, I need a reminder to keep motivated.

3 things to help keep your motivation

  1. Start your day by finding your muse
    • I have said this multiple times and I will keep saying it until the end of time, find what inspires you.
    • What is it that gets you moving and ready to accomplish?
      • Your goals?
      • A song?
      • A podcast?
      • A person?
      • Another activity?
    • Whatever it is, hold on to it, and don’t push it away.
  2. Follow your mind’s eye
    • If an idea or question pops into your head, write it down
    • It doesn’t matter what you are doing, find a way to get that information somewhere you will remember.
    • If you are working on another project and can’t get focused with it (and you are able to step away), and an idea for something else comes to you, roll with it.
    • Follow your gut and the inspiration that finds you. It could lead to some wonderful content.
  3. Give yourself mental breaks
    • Step back and take a minute.
    • Take a break and take a few minutes to yourself
      • Grab a snack
      • Wipe down your counters
      • Take the trash out
    • Even take a full day and just write in your journal or jot some ideas down if they come to you.
    • Whatever you choose, take some time away.
    • Fresh eyes make for fresh content

Now hopefully you learned your lesson about the motivational tips because of course you get some book information (no matter how brief).

Books

Are you still looking for a new book to read? Check out my Book Review Series in the menu to help you decide. Every Thursday there is a new review to help you find your weekend read.

Last week we reviewed The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides (Review), a 5 star review. This week we dive into the genre of Sci-Fi with An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green.

Now time to sit back and set up my new social media accounts. Unfortunately with change a lot more work has to be done, but hey organizing and planning is my thing. Have a great Sunday night and an even better Monday morning!

Organized Planning Freelance Writing Service is up and we are celebrating!
Bottle of wine to unwind and celebrate a well done work week.
